God is SO AMAZING!

God is so amazing! God has been so good this past summer. I can see his faithfulness with PUMP, missions, and summer league. Even now, I am amazed by God's goodness and grace.

For You are Good, For You are Good, For You are Good to me...

I was sure by now,God, that You would have reached down
and wiped our tears away,
stepped in and saved the day.
But once again, I say amen
and it's still raining
as the thunder rolls
I barely hear You whisper through the rain,
"I'm with you"
and as Your mercy falls
I raise my hands and praise
the God who gives and takes away.

And I'll praise you in this storm
and I will lift my hands
for You are who You are
no matter where I am
and every tear I've cried
You hold in your hand
You never left my side
and though my heart is torn
I will praise You in this storm

I remember when I stumbled in the wind
You heard my cry to You
and raised me up again
my strength is almost gone how can I carry on
if I can't find You
and as the thunder rolls
I barely hear You whisper through the rain
"I'm with you"
and as Your mercy falls
I raise my hands and praise
the God who gives and takes away

I lift my eyes onto the hills
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth
I lift my eyes onto the hills
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth

As I look back today, God take it all away for I know You are with me. You are God and I am man. May You be praised as I stand, as I fall, as I lie face down on the ground, as I recollect myself, as I stare into the sun, may I remember why You died for me, why I, we, need You. Help me Fully Rely On You, GOD. I Love You Lord. May You Be Praised Forever.

As all of you may or may not know, I injured myself earlier today. As I was playing basketball, i was caught up in the moment and was pushing myself too hard. I fell to the ground with pain. For some of you, you were there and you saw it happen. I tried to get back up, but i fell again. I was sent to the emergency room in an ambulance. In a short note, I did not break any bones. As of now the diagnosis is only that much. I will need an MRI later on within the week to see if i tore any cartilage, ligament, and/or tendons.
On a more spiritual note, I would like to take this opportunity and say that this was not an accident. In God's will, this was supposed to happen. I would like to thank each and every one of you for your prayers and concern. God decided to use this situation to humble me. I know that this will not be an easy journey so I can only look to Christ as my strength. I pray that each and everyone one of you will continue on with your week, safely and prayerfully. Again, thank you all for being there in my time of need.
So just let me finish this off with a verse to begin your week:
15And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. 16Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. ~James 5:15-16
May each and every one of you be renewed in Christ, and continue to live your lives with faith, hope, and love.
